Jenny
Arthur has over 13 years of paralegal experience in plaintiff
and defense civil litigation in the Tidewater and Roanoke Virginia
areas. She has concentrated her training and skills to support
medical negligence (including nursing home neglect), personal
injury and wrongful death litigation.
She takes initial calls from potential clients to gather and analyze
the facts of each case for the attorney to review. In addition,
she performs medical and legal research, and reviews and summarizes
medical records content when needed to further support the attorney's
evaluation of a potential case.
Once a client is accepted, she works with the attorney on all
aspects of the investigation and litigation of the case through
discovery, deposition and trial preparation and trial attendance.
She has assisted counsel in numerous bench and jury trials.
Ms. Arthur received her education at Virginia Polytechnic Institute
and State University and has attended numerous continuous legal
education seminars for paralegals. She has been contacted by numerous
professional associations and educational institutes with requests
to lecture and has aided in the preparation of several continuing
legal education seminars.
